Just outside of Munich in a beautiful part of Germany is Dachau. The site is in the middle of a built up residential area.
Dachau of course is location of the first Concentration Camp built by the Germans. It was not an mass extermination camp like the camps that followed but never the less forty six thousand prisoners were murdered there. Over four thousand Russian soldiers murdered by the SS on the shooting range.
Jim said he would like to visit the site so I tagged along.
The best I can say is "Less we forget". Visitors cannot fail to be emotionally moved by the experience.
