My bike had a faulty front indicator but I managed to get it fixed. Phew to fail a roadworthy check in China would be a real insult. There are all sorts of vehicles on the road but I think most wouldn't pass.
Next we were back on the road riding to another facility where the trucks had to be inspected. They passed as well.
We didn't have to do a riding test - I guess the fact that we managed to ride to China is a testament to the fact we can ride.
We left Lun at the facility and we rode back into Kashgar with him while he finalised our papers. It turned out that he stayed there until mid-night.
Got my Chinese Drivers Licence.
Got my Chinese motorcycle registration plate.
Now all the formalities are done. We can start to have a look around Kashgar.
