Clive stayed with us until lunch before deciding that he would try and make Bishkek in one day. Jim and I were not interested in doing five hundred plus kilometres in the one hit. We had lunch by a snow melt stream.
Jim and I continued on a more sedate rate enjoying the mountain scenery.
Jim and I found accommodation that included the option of sleeping in a Yurt. It was located in a beautiful spot beside a snow melt stream.
After the overnight stay we continued our climb towards the Too-Ashuu Pass. No we didn't sleep in the Yurt and opted for a conventional room with hot water and shower.
The stockmen bring their horses and sheep back into the highlands once the snow melts. The summer is spent in Yurts. They set up stalls selling mares milk, honey and meat.

Get real David - you are making a fool of yourself. We discussed a swap but in reality we were both satisfied with what we had.
