Entry procedures for China

Down the mountain on the Chinese side to the second check point.  The officers were very professional and the process was efficient.  We were not held up to long before we were on our way.

There is a hundred kilometres to travel down the mountain to the next Chinese check point.  The road was sealed so we were able to travel reasonably fast but nobody was in a hurry.

There were a few villages on the way to the check point.  The road winds it way down the mountain through gorges and valleys.

We arrived at the third and last check point which was a large complex with customs and immigration officials.  Lun Wang assisted us with getting all the correct forms filled in and submitted.  Our belongings were searched and our motorcycles checked.  Once again the officials were efficient and professional.

The entry process was painless and Lun appeared have all contingencies covered.  Now just a fifty kilometre ride into Kashgar.
